Harvard Referencer 1.5

A slight update to the Harvard Referencer.

Users can now specify that the text fields used to input data to the program are cleared after making a reference. This can be turned off in the 'properties' form, see below.

I have also added another example reference with more than one author to help make the fact that you need to separate author names with a colon clearer.

Thanks for this!

A very useful program, I am a medical student and find this invaluable!

I am writing a research paper and find this a life saver!

@aurl, can you describe the problem related to copying in a bit more depth please? You can select all (press ctrl+a) and right click and select copy (or press ctrl+c) to copy/paste text. If you have more ideas or further descriptions of bugs please email me or post here again. Cheers

@Anonymous, I'm glad you like the program, good luck with the paper.

Very handy program. Would be good if it could reference DVDs/CDs/movies/music (multimedia) etc. Thanks for a great program.

there's nothing as boring as referencing and you made it fun!!!

a good add on would also be lecture notes but i guess i can always use journal instead. Once again thanks, keep up the good work

hey,

It's Manny. Just wanted to say that when inserting the start and end page, it is possible to insert letters as well as numbers, or is this purposefull (for page numbers like IV or XIII)...

Tony,

Just a quick note, this is a wonderful little tool and perfectly fills a gap left by Word 2007 for Harvard referencing. Completely intuitive and simple to use, A sincere thank you.

Kerry.

Thanks for your comments Jeff, I'm glad you found this tool useful. Yes I agree that saving/retrieving reference lists would be a nice feature to add; it will go in the next version (if I ever get round to writing it...).

Tony,

Any chance of an update for saving referencs anytime soon??

I've recommended this to my fellow students throughout my B.Sc. and M.Ed.

Well done mate!

Hi Tony,
congrats... it is a good attempt.... Is there any possibility to synchronize Harvard referencing in word. Just like when we opt for insert citation, will it automatically come in the references or bibliography at the end of the word document?

Hi Tony,
Congrats for the effort.
Is it possible to insert citation providing the reference details and the bibliography comes automatically at the end of the word document? (as we do in APA citation & referencing in MS word)

Does this program work for Windows 7?
